* The University Bookstore's Annual Bargain Bonanza will be from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, April 29-30, on the RSC north patio. The sale includes reduced prices on computers, software, electronics and accessories. In addition, there will be sales on apparel including $9.99 T-shirts, while supplies last.

* The Biological Sciences seminar at 4 p.m. today (Monday, April 28) in 218 Hubbard Hall honors Emeritus Professor Art Youngman, who was responsible for founding and developing WSU's collection of dried plant specimens. The herbarium facility will be named the Arthur L. Youngman Herbarium. Craig Freeman, senior curator of the R.L. McGregor Herbarium at the University of Kansas, will present a special seminar "Herbaria in the 21st century: beyond cabinets of curiosity." Following the seminar, there will be a brief dedication ceremony at the herbarium facility in 306 Hubbard Hall. All are welcome.

* The women's golf team won the Missouri Valley Conference Championship last week and advances to the NCAA Regional for the first time in program history May 8-10. The team will host a NCAA Selection Show watch party in the Champions Club at Charles Koch Arena today (Monday, April 28). * Shocker Walker challenge participants are asked to visit the Heskett Center by Thursday, May 1, so that your steps taken during the month of April can be recorded. Remember, all participants who have taken more than 50,000 steps will be entered into a drawing to receive the monthly package drawing, which includes complimentary massage, semester membership, Shocker Fit semester pass and a personal locker.

* The Unclassified Professionals Senate invites all UP employees to the Spring General Meeting at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 1, in 211 Hubbard Hall. Attendees will receive updates from President John Bardo, Vice President for Academic Affairs Tony Vizzini, Vice President for Campus Life and University Relations Wade Robinson, Vice President for Administration and Finance Mary Herrin and EEO Director Francisco Gonzalez.
