A Catholic rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 30) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 1, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 N. Socora. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, 1640 N. Maize Road. Immediately following the burial, there will be a luncheon at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Byers, director of Financial Aid at Wichita State, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 27. She had worked at WSU for more than 28 years. Donations can be made in her honor to the WSU Foundation.
