A Mass of Christian Burial for Deb Byers was held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 1, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, with burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Byers, director of Financial Aid at Wichita State, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 27. She had worked at WSU for more than 28 years. Donations can be made in her honor to the WSU Foundation.
