* Official Hospitality Training will be offered to faculty and staff from 3-4 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 21) in 124 Jabara Hall. Academic Affairs is simplifying its official hospitality reimbursement process for candidate searches. It's important training for departmental personnel involved in processing reimbursement requests.

* Join Campus Recreation and celebrate National Walk at Work Day today (Wednesday, May 21). Run, walk or jog to the Heskett Center wearing your running/walking shoes from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. to be entered into a drawing for a Campus Recreation health and relaxation package. No specific route or distance is needed.

* As the WSU Foundation concludes the end of the fiscal year, requisitions are due as normal at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 25. Any large invoices you receive between June 26 and 10 a.m. Friday, June 30, will be handled as emergency checks, as requested on June 30. The foundation does not encumber funds and cannot write any checks for fiscal year 2014 after June 30. Any requests to carry over unspent endowed fund authorized amounts must be justified in writing and sent to Patsy Selby by Tuesday, July 1, 2014.

* The Office of Research and Technology Transfer at WSU recently purchased a membership for WSU to the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance. NCIIA connects faculty and students from institutions of all kinds, including research institutions with active technology transfer programs, colleges exploring the teaching of applied innovation, engineering schools and business schools, large and small, committed to offering students more creative, hands-on experiences. * WSU's Child Development Center will offer childcare from 6-10 p.m. every Tuesday this coming fall semester for children 6 weeks to 12 years old; provided there are a minimum of 10 children enrolled.
