Public reception for Ulrich education curator Aimee Geist

Ulrich Museum Curator of Education Aimee Geist has spent more than 10 years teaching audiences about the collection and exhibitions at the Ulrich, and has reached thousands of children, college students and community members. On June 3 she will take on a new venture with her arts education background, as executive director of Arts Partners-Wichita.

The Ulrich Museum of Art will host a public reception for Geist from 4:30-6 p.m. Friday, May 30. Please come wish her the best.

"We are very proud that Aimee will be leading Arts Partners-Wichita," said Ulrich Director Bob Workman. "She has contributed so much to making the Ulrich the impactful contemporary arts organization that it is, and I know she will now use her vast talents to move Arts Partners-Wichita forward in its important work. She will be greatly missed, but we look forward to being collaborators in the years ahead."
