* If you are in Wichita this summer and looking for a place to sing, you're invited to join the WSU Summer Choir. The choir starts rehearsals at 5 p.m. Monday, June 2, with a concert on Thursday, June 26. This year's theme is "Have a Little Faith." There are no auditions. Just come and sing. * WSU is only allowed one submission to the Department of Education for the First in the World Program -- Development Grants due Monday, June 30, 2014. If you are interested in applying to this program, you must notify the Office of Research and Technology Transfer by 5 p.m. Thursday, May 29, via proposals@wichita.edu.
* Ulrich Museum Curator of Education Aimee Geist has spent more than 10 years teaching audiences about the collection and exhibitions at the Ulrich, and has reached thousands of children, college students and community members. On June 3 she will take on a new venture with her arts education background, as executive director of Arts Partners-Wichita. The Ulrich Museum of Art will host a public reception for Geist from 4:30-6 p.m. Friday, May 30.
* The Division of Campus Life and University Relations has challenged the Division of Academic Affairs to see who can raise the most money for the Heart Walk and who will have the most participants.
