Wichita State hosts state high school track and field meet Wichita State hosts state high school track and field meet

The Kansas State High School Track and Field meet will be held today (Friday, May 30) and Saturday, May 31 at Cessna Stadium. The event will cause some campus parking and traffic disruptions on these days.

- The Yale Ave. campus entrance at 21st Street will be closed to incoming traffic. Only buses and school-marked vans and suburbans will be allowed to turn onto Yale from 21st Street North.

- A segment of Perimeter Road from Mike Oatman Drive to Yale Ave. will also be closed to most non-meet traffic. Parking will still be available in Lot 10 adjacent to the Corbin Education Center for those working at Corbin, Heskett, Hubbard Hall and Devlin Hall. Employees must enter campus at Mike Oatman Drive and let the officer working the barricade at Perimeter Road know they work at one of the buildings listed.

- Because of the disruptions, Devlin Hall will be closed for the two days.
