Reminders

* Take advantage of an extraordinary opportunity to purchase a Yamaha piano from the WSU-Yamaha Piano Loan Program from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, June 7, in Duerksen Fine Arts Center. All pianos will be sold on a first-come basis at program prices. Call 263-1564 to schedule a preview appointment prior to the public sale.

* Two assistant professors in the Elliott School are looking for grandparents and grandchildren of all ages to take part in interviews about grandfamilies (families in which grandparents are the primary caregivers of their grandchild/grandchildren) and communication. * A biometric screening, including lab work, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure and BMI is available year-round from 8-11 a.m. Mondays-Fridays for faculty and staff at Student Health Services in Ahlberg Hall. Remember to fast 10-12 hours prior to the appointment, except for water and medications. The cost is $25.

* The Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes now has a menu of 11 freshly prepared salads for a limited time. Summer hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays and 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Fridays with the sports grill kitchen closing 30 minutes prior to closing time.

* You are invited to a farewell (but not goodbye) reception for WSU Alumni Association president and CEO Debbie Kennedy. The reception is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Marcus Welcome Center. Remarks will begin at 5:45 p.m.
