* The free summer music series "Art for Your Ears" will feature Ellis Paul at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at McKnight Outdoor Plaza (between the Ulrich Museum and School of Art and Design). Paul is one of the leading voices in American songwriting and one of the top songwriters to emerge out of the fertile Boston folk scene.

* WSU will continue its annual fall convocation on Tuesday, Aug. 26. The 14th annual banner design competition and exhibition helps to increase Wichita State student organizations visibility on campus. * Housing and Residence Life is seeking volunteers to help with move-in from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16. T-shirts and pizza will be provided while supplies last. * The WSU Child Development Center will offer childcare from 6-10 p.m. every Tuesday this coming fall semester for children 6 weeks to 12 years old, provided there are a minimum of 10 children enrolled.
