TRIO to host science symposium and fair

On Friday, July 11, 59 participants from the TRIO Upward Bound Math Science program, grades 9 through 12, will participate in the Annual Research Symposium and Science Fair at Wichita State. All WSU staff and students are invited to attend. The event is from 12:45-3 p.m. in 231 Hubbard Hall and the Hubbard Hall center and south lobbies. The symposium and the science fair will represent several scientific disciplines, such as chemistry, physics, medicine and health. A panel of judges will evaluate the projects and determine scores based on the strength of presentation and comprehension of subject matter. Recognition will be given to outstanding participants, and the top-placing student scientists will receive awards at the Upward Bound Math Science Awards Banquet on Wednesday, July 16.
