Bill Vanderburgh accepts position at California State University, San Bernardino

Bill Vanderburgh, executive director of the Office for Faculty Development and Student Success (OFDSS) and associate professor in the department of philosophy, has accepted a position at California State University, San Bernardino.

On Aug. 4, he will become the university's new associate vice president for academic affairs, dean of undergraduate studies, and professor of philosophy.

An interim appointment will be announced in the coming days.

Vanderburgh has been the executive director of WSU's OFDSS since its formation in 2010. One of his most notable accomplishments was the formalization and implementation of the Graduation Partnership, WSU's student success initiative.
