Reminders

* The WSU Physical Therapy Department is holding an information session for those interested in the Doctor of Physical Therapy degree program from 1-3 p.m. Friday, July 18, at 358 N. Main. Meet faculty and students, tour the facilities, gain information on the program and the application process and more. A panel of students will answer your questions and talk on student life in the PT program. Parking and entrance are on the south side of the building.

* Join us as we celebrate the grand opening of Shocker Hall, Wichita State's most recent housing expansion, at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, for the dedication and open house. Tours of the facilities, information on living learning communities and light refreshments will be provided. This event is open to the public.

* Mothers and their infants are being recruited to participate in a study of infant eye-tracking behaviors. If you have an infant who is 3 months old (11-13 weeks), or will be 3 months old in July, weighed between 5.5 and 10 lbs. at birth, and was born between 37 and 40 weeks gestation, you may be eligible to participate. You will receive a $10 gift card for completing Day 1, a $15 gift card for completing Day 2, a $20 gift card for completing Day 3 and a $25 gift card for completing Day 4. * The Liberal Arts and Sciences Advising Center is closed during its move to 113 Hubbard Hall until Friday, July 18.

* Several Affordable Care Act classes are available between now and Friday, Aug 1. This class will include a presentation to introduce the main concepts of the Affordable Care Act and how it affects managers and timekeepers. If you have questions, email lana.anthis@wichita.edu. * Housing and Residence Life is seeking volunteers to help with move-in from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16. T-shirts and pizza will be provided while supplies last.
