Wichita State University President John Bardo will present WSUâ€™s case for special funding priorities in FY 2016 and FY 2017 at a Kansas Board of Regents workshop Tuesday, July 22, in Topeka, Kan.

Priority one will be a request for the financial support of economic innovation, doctoral research fellowships, diversification and technology transfer. That will include a one-time funding request for construction of the Innovation Center on the Innovation Campus.

A second priority will be financing for a one-time jump start for innovation equipment.
