* Following a long illness, Randy Brown, instructor and senior fellow in the Elliott School of Communication, died Wednesday, July 23. He was 73. Services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Monday, July 28) at East Heights United Methodist Church, 4407 E. Douglas.
* Academic Affairs is simplifying its official hospitality reimbursement process for candidate searches. Learn about these important changes before they take effect in fiscal year 2015 at an Official Hospitality Training Session from 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, in 127 Jabara Hall. This is important training for all university departmental personnel involved in processing reimbursement requests. * The Creative Services Department in Strategic Communications is moving temporarily from Grace Wilkie Hall to the Print Services Building Tuesday and Wednesday, July 29-30, and the department will be closed through Friday, Aug. 1. * Because of a move to Brennan Hall II, second floor, the Office of Career Services will be closed now to Tuesday, July 29. It will reopen in Brennan Hall II on Wednesday, July 30.
* Volunteers are being recruited to help with Convocation 2014, scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, in Charles Koch Arena.
