* Effective Monday, Aug. 11, WSU will no longer operate a campus motor pool. WSU has contracted with the Hertz Corporation to provide vehicles for use by campus employees. Visit http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3070 for more information.
* The Ulrich Museum's fortieth anniversary exhibition, Forty Years/Forty Stories closes Sunday, Aug. 3. This exhibition celebrates the stories, people and objects that have helped shape the history of the Ulrich. The galleries are open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. today (Friday, Aug. 1) and this weekend from 1-5 p.m. Admission is free.

* WSU has one more year on the State of Kansas, Oce (now Canon) Copier Contract 12156. The contract will expire on Oct. 31, 2015. Recently WSU has been able to make adjustments to the lease agreements to allow departments to adjust the estimated number of copies for their machines here on campus. Please review your current costs for the Oce leased machine in your office, and compare the actual usage to the estimated usage submitted at the beginning of the lease. * The Office of Human Resources administers the employee tuition assistance program for benefits-eligible, nonteaching employees of the university. The deadline to apply for spring courses is Dec. 12. The deadline for seminars is still three weeks prior to the first day of the seminar.
