Hambleton joins WSU as director of Student Conduct and Community Standards

Mandy Hambleton has joined Wichita State as director of Student Conduct and Community Standards. In this role, she will be responsible for oversight of the student conduct process and educating the community about behavioral expectations, individual and group accountability and conflict resolution.

She earned a M.S. in Higher Education -- Student Affairs from Florida State University and a B.A. in English -- Professional Communication from Winthrop University in South Carolina.

Prior to coming to WSU, Mandy served as assistant director for Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution in the Dean of Students Office at the University of Florida, where she was responsible for advising the Student Conduct Committee, resolving allegations of academic and non-academic misconduct, and facilitating educational programs on conflict resolution and university policies. She has also worked in the field of student conduct at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Hambleton is an active member of the Association for Student Conduct Administration and currently serves as chair of the Sexual Misconduct and Title IX Community of Practice.
