* Student Involvement is seeking interested faculty and staff to judge this year's convocation banners competition. Judging will take place between 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21. * Faculty and staff with yellow parking permits must park in designated yellow or yellow/green parking lots on the main campus. Vehicles with yellow permits that are parked in green lots will be ticketed by the WSU Police Department.
* Because of Bill Vanderburgh's resignation last month from the Office for Faculty Development and Student Success (OFDSS), Kim Sandlin, director of the Office of Transitions and Orientation, will take on the additional responsibility of directing this area, which has been renamed the Office of Student Success. * Join faculty and staff to discuss and provide feedback on Service-Learning from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, in 233 RSC (Santa Fe Room). You will hear an overview of work to date in assessing the needs to develop and implement a robust Service-Learning program on campus. Lunch will be provided. * The Office of Human Resources administers the employee tuition assistance program for benefits-eligible, nonteaching employees of the university.
