* A mandatory workshop for all new GTAs (Graduate Teaching Assistants) who have not already attended this workshop will be held from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, in 233 RSC. This will be the last GTA workshop for this semester, so if you are currently a GTA and have not attended your mandatory workshop in the previous semesters, please do so at this time.

* Come to the Brown Bag discussion "Ferguson, Enough is Enough" from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, in 256 RSC. Bring your lunch and an appetite for discussion. Brown Bag discussions allow the WSU community an opportunity to dialogue about specific issues regarding multiculturalism and diversity. * WSU has a great basketball program, but did you know that the Shocker Sound Basketball Band won the 2013 Final Four Battle of the Bands in Atlanta? Shocker Sound will hold auditions from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, and Thursday, Sept. 25, in Duerksen Fine Arts Center (DFAC).
