* The Fall 2014 WSU Mathematics and Statistics lecture series will begin at 3 p.m. today (Friday, Sept. 19) in 372 Jabara Hall, with a presentation by Christine Escher of Oregon State University. * Comedian Mentalist Sean Bott grew up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where inhaling desert dust and scorching heat has severely warped his brain. His show includes mind reading, telepathy and predicting the future. Presented by SAC, Sean will perform at 8 p.m. today (Friday, Sept. 19) in the CAC Theater. * The Learn More: 2014 WSU Technology Fair will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, on the RSC second floor. The Technology Fair is an annual event where the WSU community discovers the many ways technology is used on campus today. You are invited to submit a proposal to be a presenter at the fair and share how you use technology in the classroom and workplace today. * All University Support Staff (USS) will continue to be evaluated in the Performance Management System (CEEDS) for the current review period ending Tuesday, Sept. 30. The following review period will be shortened from Oct. 1, 2014, to Feb. 28, 2015, to accommodate the transition to the revised USS performance evaluation annual cycles beginning March 1, 2015. Until March 1, supervisors of USS should continue to log in to CEEDS to access the evaluations. Training on the current CEEDS system, which is listed in myTraining, will continue until the new evaluation is implemented. Training on the new evaluation will be published beginning in 2015.
