* The Office of Human Resources and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion invite you to Safe Zone LGBTQA Training from 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, in 245 RSC. The goal is to provide a welcoming environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and ally persons, and where to go for help and more. Safe Zone establishes an identifiable network of supportive people who can provide support, information and a safe place for LGBTQA persons within the WSU campus community. * Do you have a knack for the visual arts? Compete in the 22nd Annual Elements Multi-Media Art Competition. Students can submit up to six pieces of works in a variety of categories. If you have more than six works and would like to host your own art show, apply to exhibit in the Cadman Art Gallery for the spring semester. * WSU has a great basketball program, but did you know that the Shocker Sound Basketball Band won the 2013 Final Four Battle of the Bands in Atlanta?
