* WSU's Center for Entrepreneurship is offering a fall series of nine seminars designed for entrepreneurs and small businesses seeking to keep up with the best advice for operating business in today's dynamic economic times. * Dueling Pianos will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, in the Shirley Beggs Ballroom in the RSC. Come enjoy an evening of requesting songs and watching the two piano players battle it out. There will be free appetizers. This SAC event will be free to students with WSU ID, $2 for faculty/staff and $3 for the general public.
* Come play with clay. Try your hand at the potter's wheel and make wheel-thrown bowls and hand-built animals with the WSU Ceramics Guild from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, in Henrion Hall. Learn how to glaze pots and fire them in a kiln. Free admission.

* Words for Wellness: Thriving Through Diversity will be featured from noon-12:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, in 142 RSC. This discussion will provide tips and insights for all who wish to turn barriers into bridges, taking advantage of the diversity we have at WSU. The program is sponsored by the Counseling and Testing Center.

The Office of Transitions and Orientation is looking to hire new Transition Mentors to help welcome all new undergraduate students to Wichita State.
