Wichita State University's Center for Economic Development and Business Research (CEDBR) will release the annual Kansas and Wichita industry level employment forecast at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9. The reports will be made available through a news release from WSU and at http://www.outlook.cedbr.org.

In conjunction with the center's employment forecast, CEDBR is hosting the 35th Annual Wichita Economic Outlook Conference at Century II on Oct. 9. Speakers will present on the air transportation outlook, consumer/retail outlook and the local forecast. For more information about the speakers, go to http://www.agenda.cedbr.org.

Conference speakers will be available for interviews at stage right during the scheduled breaks and at the conclusion of the event (9 a.m., 10:10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.). Sound bites will be made accessible to the press at the sound booth located in the convention hall.
