* Help celebrate the Elliott School of Communication's 25th birthday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Thursday, Oct. 16) on the first floor of Elliott Hall. * Faculty and staff who need to rent regalia for the fall 2014 commencement need to do so by Friday, Oct. 24. Please come to the bookstore or call Julie Hejtmanek at 978-7021 between 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. to place your order. If you are interested in purchasing a set, CB Grad will be in the University Bookstore from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, to take orders. There will be a special discount if you purchase at this time, and payment will be required.

* The Office of Human Resources has announced the release of the I-9 Online Training Tutorial at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3370. This tutorial will take you through step-by-step instructions on completing the Form I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification) for both domestic and international employees. There is a post quiz and examples of completed forms you can print for easy reference. This is highly recommended training for anyone who completes the sign-up paperwork within your department.
