Wichita State and Connoisseur Media are teaming up to host the annual Shocker Madness kickoff event for the men's and women's basketball teams today (Thursday, Oct. 16) in Charles Koch Arena. Admission is free, and gates will open at 5 p.m. The action begins at 6 p.m. when the Shocker men receive their 2014 championship rings. The team will also host a slam dunk competition, followed by a 20-minute intrasquad scrimmage. The WSU women take the court immediately after with their own ring ceremony and scrimmage.
