* The University Bookstore will have a Spooktacular patio sale on the RSC north patio from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 21-22.
* While supplies last, Student Health Services will provide free flu shots to all currently enrolled WSU students. Flu shots will be available on a walk-in basis (no appointment needed) at Student Health in 209 Ahlberg Hall. Hours are from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays. * Learn how to get started on your midterm/final research papers in the Research Starter Kit Workshop from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, in 217 Ablah Library. This workshop will you give you helpful tips on how to use library resources both online and in-person to help you successfully complete your upcoming writing assignments. Space is limited. * All first-time, full-time freshmen are encouraged to take a 90-minute, open-ended assessment that helps WSU measure how well it is teaching critical thinking, analytic reasoning, problem-solving and writing skills. Participating qualified freshmen are eligible to receive a $25 QuickTrip gift card. The assessment will be administered at various dates and times now to Oct. 22, in the Social Science Research Lab, 429 Lindquist Hall.
