* The Division of Academic Affairs and the Faculty Senate are hosting a series of workshops and webinars for faculty and staff to learn more about Credit for Prior Learning and Competency-Based Education. To begin, we will host a series of informative webinars and in the spring will hold a meeting for faculty and staff to discuss the topic as well as opportunities on how to expand on the ideas behind credit for prior learning and competency-based learning. * In recognition of the fifth anniversary of the passage of the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr., Hate Crimes Prevention Act, the School of Community Affairs is teaming up with the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Kansas to bring U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom to the WSU campus at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, in 209 Hubbard Hall.
