More than 350 people attended the 2014 President's Club Celebration on Thursday, Oct. 9, in the new Shirley Beggs Ballroom in the renovated Rhatigan Student Center. The event, hosted by WSU President John Bardo, First Lady Deborah Bardo and the WSU Foundation, recognized all life and FY14 annual members of the giving club.

Lifetime membership is extended to donors contributing $100,000 to $199,999 in a lifetime. There were 26 new lifetime members. Annual members gave a minimum of $5,000 during fiscal year 2014.

Guests enjoyed the weather and the view from the new terrace prior to the dinner and program. Sam Ramey '68, WSU distinguished professor of opera, introduced four WSU opera theatre students who performed selections from the upcoming WSU Opera Theatre production of Don Giovanni.

Program speakers included Elizabeth King, WSU Foundation president and CEO, and John Bardo. WSU Foundation Board of Directors Chair and Chair-elect, Marilyn Pauly and Paul Allen, respectively, read biographies on each of the new life members in attendance.
