It's almost November and that means Thanksgiving and basketball season are just around the corner. Shocker athletics is combining a bit of both at the Shocker Tip-off Luncheon at noon Wednesday, Nov. 12 in the Aetna Multi-Purpose Center at Charles Koch Arena (formerly the Preferred Health Systems Multi-Purpose Center).

Participants can meet the men's and women's basketball teams, enjoy an early Thanksgiving lunch and hear about the upcoming season from head coaches Gregg Marshall and Jody Adams.

Tickets are $25; however, all WSU faculty and staff can purchase discounted tickets at $20 each by going to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3401 and entering the Promo Code FSD, or by calling the Shocker Ticket Office at 978-3267 and mentioning you are faculty/staff.

The reservation deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7. Donations to offset the ticket costs for the Shocker players are also being accepted.
