* Health insurance open enrollment ends Friday, Oct. 31. Until then, all benefits-eligible employees are allowed to select new benefits options for Plan Year 2015. There are many changes, so review them and see how they will affect your 2015 benefits. Human Resources and the state will present these changes; you are encouraged to attend one of the available information sessions. Remember, all changes will be effective Jan. 1, 2015. * Celebrate the grand opening of Cadman Art Gallery, in conjunction with the 22nd Annual Elements Multi-Media Competition from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, on the first floor of the Rhatigan Student Center. To begin, we will host a series of informative webinars and in the spring will hold a meeting for faculty and staff to discuss the topic as well as opportunities on how to expand on the ideas behind credit for prior learning and competency-based learning.
