Wichita State and Shocker bowling is well represented at arguably the biggest singles tournament of the year around the globe, bowling's World Cup from Nov. 1-9. Seven current and former Shockers are attending the tournament. Each country sends one female and one male to compete. Shockers are represented by current junior Dasha Kovalova (Ukraine), Sandra Gongora ('06-'10, Mexico), Isi Eskenazi ('07-'11, Mexico), defending champion Caroline Lagrange ('03-'06, Canada), Clara Guererro ('03-'06, Colombia), Mariana Ayala ('06-'10, Puerto Rico) and Chris Barnes ('89-'92, United States).
