The future of social entrepreneurship

"Innovative Approaches to Benefit Society: The Future of Social Entrepreneurship" will be presented at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, in 107 Devlin Hall. A reception will follow in the lobby of Devlin Hall from 4-5 p.m. While many entrepreneurs measure success in revenue and profits, social entrepreneurs measure success by positive impact on society. Hear from four Wichitans dedicated to helping others talk about lessons from their business careers being applied to building a better community through nonprofit organizations.

Panelists include Brian Black, corporate public affairs manager, Spirit AeroSystems; Yolanda Camerena, board president of Kansas Hispanic Education and Development Foundation; and Bob Lutz, Wichita Eagle sports columnist and founder of League 42, introducing baseball to inner-city kids.
