New WSU brand ad campaign launches next week

Our Time, a new advertising campaign designed to help audiences better connect with Wichita State University's new "innovation university" concept, will launch on Sunday, Nov. 9. It will include traditional newspaper and television advertising, as well as significant Web-based advertising and new content on WSU's website and social media channels.

"Our goal is to better position Wichita State as an applied learning leader among prospective students, but also among business and government leaders, peers in higher education and general audiences throughout Wichita, the state and region," according to Barth Hague, chief marketing officer. "Our aim is to help audiences connect the 'innovation university' concept with outcomes like better life opportunities, a better educational experience, more jobs and more stable economic growth," Hague added.

The campaign includes a new TV spot, which will air locally on broadcast TV stations, the Cox Kansas network and on ESPN, Fox Sports and CBS during national broadcasts of WSU basketball games.
