* "Innovative Approaches to Benefit Society: The Future of Social Entrepreneurship" will be presented at 3 p.m. today (Thursday, Nov. 13) in 107 Devlin Hall. Admission is free. A reception will follow in the lobby of Devlin Hall from 4-5 p.m. Hear from four Wichitans dedicated to helping others talk about lessons from their business careers being applied to building a better community through nonprofit organizations.

* The School of Social Work invites you to see "Invisible War" at 4 p.m. today (Thursday, Nov. 13) in 208 Hubbard Hall. Directed by Oscar and Emmy nominated filmmaker Kirby Dick, "Invisible War" is an investigative documentary about one of America's most shameful and best kept secrets: the epidemic of rape within the U.S. military. * The fall Anthropology Colloquium series will feature a presentation by graduate student Bryant Jacobs called "What's with all the touching? Interactions and Relations between Orangutans at the Sedgwick Co. Zoo" at 5 p.m. today (Thursday, Nov. 13) in 117 Neff Hall.

* The WSU Bicycle Club, along with the Oz Bicycle Club and Bike Walk Wichita, will present a premiere screening of "HOPE," a documentary about cyclist Maria Parker's 3,000 mile race to fight her sister's terminal cancer diagnosis. The screening starts at 7 p.m. today (Thursday, Nov. 13) at Wichita State's CAC Theater. Admission is $10, or $5 for all students with WSU ID.

* Dorothy Billings, Ronald Christ, Dorothy Crum and Peter Zoller are the newest faculty chosen for membership in the Academy for Effective Teaching. They will be inducted into the academy at a reception from 3-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, in the Armstrong Room, Marcus Welcome Center. * The Lecture Series in the Mathematical Sciences will feature professor Xiaojun Huang from Rutgers University. Huang will present "Rigidity of local holomorphic isometries from a Kahler manifold to the product of complex projective spaces" at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, in 372 Jabara Hall.
