Mandy Fleming takes job at Envision

Mandy Fleming, who has served as director of events at the WSU Alumni Association for seven years, has accepted a development officer position with Envision, a disability services nonprofit in Wichita.

Her last day at work on campus is Friday, Nov. 14.

Fleming oversaw such alumni association events as the WSU Distinguished Speaker Series and the annual WSU Alumni Awards banquet and helped organize the annual fundraising event Rockin' the Roundhouse. Her new job will include coordinating large-scale fundraising events, writing grants and managing an annual staff-giving campaign in her new position.

"I am looking forward to the challenges that await me," she says.

Fleming, who graduated from Wichita State with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 1998 and who also holds a master's degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, is a proud WSU supporter and 14-year member of the alumni association.

"I've had the benefit of working with some of the most kind-hearted, hard-working co-workers, as well as having had the pleasure of meeting and growing relationships with WSU alumni and friends from all walks of life. My time with the alumni association has been very rewarding, with many fond memories I will always keep close. I wish nothing but the very best for the continued growth of the association, the university, the Innovation Campus and the phenomenal people working to make it happen," she says.
