The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) had its annual meeting in San Francisco Nov. 9-12. INFORMS is the largest society in the world for professionals in the field of operations research, management science and analytics. WSU Faculty and students from the IME Department presented 12 papers authored by three faculty members and 10 students. IME faculty and students continue to showcase WSU and the IME department's strength in research areas vital to the Kansas and the national economy.
