* The Nov. 26 Cultural Ambassador Program's Fall Around the World Wednesday event has been moved to 12:30 p.m. today (Monday, Nov. 17) in 266 RSC. Rebeca Jeong Beak will present "Small but Powerful South Korea."
* The WSU International Student Union will host "Around the World at Noon" from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, on the first floor of the RSC.

* Starting today (Monday, Nov. 17), the Office of Admissions in the Marcus Welcome Center will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays-Fridays. Prospective students and parents can receive admissions-related services from 5-7 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays at OneStop, located in the first floor of Jabara Hall. Questions regarding admission status are also answered 24/7 by calling 978-3085 and pressing option one. The Office of Admissions will reopen for extended hours during peak admission and registration times in January and August.

* WSU's International Student Union is hosting "All the World's on Stage," a show celebrating International Education Week (Nov. 17-21). The event -- from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, in the CAC Theater -- is an annual fundraiser for charity and a showcase for the talents found among our student body. Tickets, available at the theater, are $3 for students and $5 for general admission. All proceeds go toward the American Red Cross to aid in the prevention and control of the Ebola virus. * Starting this spring semester, the Certificate in Spanish for the Professions will offer courses in Spanish translation, interpreting and Business Spanish. These courses prepare students to become Spanish language professionals and translators. WSU is the first university in Kansas to offer a certificate of this kind. * While supplies last, Student Health Services will provide free flu shots to all currently enrolled WSU students. Flu shots are available on a walk-in basis (no appointment needed) at Student Health in 209 Ahlberg Hall, from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays. * Undergraduate students are encouraged to apply to present their research to legislators in the Capitol Rotunda in Topeka, on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015. The deadline for applications is Tuesday, Jan. 20, but earlier submissions will be given priority consideration. Student expenses will be paid by WSU, including the cost of printing the poster, transportation to and from the event and lunch at the event.
