Homecoming preview

The WSU Alumni Association and homecoming committee invites you to join in all of our WSU Homecoming festivities the week of Feb. 23-28. This year's theme is "Shockerland: Let the Homecoming Games Begin." We are planning some big events, including the Shockers Got Talent and the philanthropic Nearly Naked Run. Join us for the official homecoming activities before we pack Charles Koch Arena as the Shockers take on the Northern Iowa Panthers.

Do your friends tell you that you could make it on Last Comic Standing or American Idol? Now is your chance to show off your talent and possibly win $1,000.

This year, Homecoming is bringing back Shockers Got Talent after a successful first year. Last year featured nine exceptional acts, with Roy Moye III taking home the first place prize of $1,000 by singing "Treasure" by Bruno Mars.

In our second year, we want 20 acts to perform in front of a panel of judges to compete for the grand prize. All rules and entry forms are online. Applications will be accepted starting Jan. 26. Only the first 20 applicants will be considered for this event. Shockers Got Talent will be on Feb. 26, so mark your calendars today.
