The AAO-1 paper form has been consolidated into one document set for USS and unclassified/faculty job searches. The design changes to the upgraded documents allow for one standard format and incorporate the recently updated Veterans Preference policy.

- Step 1 is the first step for screening applicants
- Step 2 is optional and used for scoring phone, Skype or airport interviews and making recommendations for live interviews
- Step 3 is for scoring in-person interviews and making recommendations for hire
