Reminders
* Because of some additional domestic water service and drain line connections that need to be made for the ongoing fourth floor remodeling project, domestic water service to Jardine Hall will be shut down from about 7 a.m.-10 a.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 26). The building will still be open and most systems will be operational, but restrooms will be closed and sinks and water fountains will be out of service. Restrooms and water fountains will still be operational in all buildings that surround Jardine Hall.
* WSU staff, faculty and students from WU Crew volunteer at The Lord's Diner. Now everyone is invited to participate in the annual sock, hat, glove and scarf collection for guests at The Lord's Diner. Drop off donations at Central Services in the basement of Morrison Hall by Monday, Dec. 8. Donate any of the following for men and women -- warm hats/scarves, white tube socks and warm gloves, including men's work gloves. These will be distributed to our guests on Christmas Eve.
* Are you a full-time employee at WSU? The application deadline for dependent/spouse tuition assistance is Monday, Dec. 1. Please see the Human Resources website at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3462 for a link to an overview of the program, the policy and application forms.
* The Commencement Office is looking for individuals who are available to work the 2014 Fall Commencement on Sunday, Dec. 14, from noon to about 5 p.m. If you are interested in helping, visit http://www.wichita.edu/commencement and click on "Volunteers." * New and experienced Banner Schedule Builders and Department Chairs are invited to attend the upcoming Spring Schedule Building Training sessions, presented by the University Registrar and Applications Training on Dec. 9-10. Sections 1 and 2 are required for new schedule builders; current builders are invited to attend one or both sessions as a refresher.
