Angel Tree at Wichita State

Children especially dream about the wonderful things they hope to find under the tree on Christmas morning. Unfortunately, many children in Wichita won't even have a Christmas tree, much less any presents to open. That's where The Salvation Army comes in. Through the Angel Tree program, gifts are provided to children in need who would otherwise be left out on Christmas.

The Service Living Learning Community is sponsoring an Angel Tree for students, faculty and staff to "adopt an angel." The Angel Tree will be located in Shocker Hall Dining and will need to be registered at the Shocker Hall main lobby. Angels are available now, and all gifts must be returned to Shocker Hall main lobby by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12.

Angels will be Wichita youth under the age of 14 years old. You will be provided with the age, gender and gift ideas for each angel. More details and instructions will be available at the Angel Tree in Shocker Hall main lobby. Simply stop by to adopt your angel and register at the main desk.
