Angel Tree at Wichita State

Children dream about the wonderful things they hope to find under the tree on Christmas morning. Unfortunately, many children in Wichita won't even have a Christmas tree, much less any presents to open. That's where The Salvation Army comes in. Through the Angel Tree program, gifts are provided to children in need who would otherwise be left out on Christmas. The Service Living Learning Community is sponsoring an Angel Tree for students, faculty and staff to "adopt an angel." The Angel Tree will be located in Shocker Hall Dining and participants will need to be registered at the Shocker Hall main lobby. Angels are available now, and all gifts must be delivered to Shocker Hall main lobby by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3489 for more information.
