* Join the Introduction to Fine Arts students in their professor talent show at 10 a.m. today (Thursday, Dec. 4) in the CAC Theater. Students were asked to plan an event that showed their professors performing a skill they aren't used to. Don't miss this opportunity to see professors outside of their comfort zone.
* Come let out your finals frustration with screams and ice cream. Bring your old textbooks and notes to tear them up. The screaming and tearing will happen at 12:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Dec. 4) in Goover Lounge, east Shocker Card Center and Commerce Bank in the RSC. The first 50 screamers will receive a free T-shirt.
* Check out the newest class coming to the Spring 2015 Shocker Fit schedule. Come to a free PiYo class from 1-2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, in Shocker Hall A1320.
* LAT.IN.A is a Latina Interest Association at WSU that started this fall. The purpose of the group is to eventually charter a Latina sorority chapter on campus. LAT.IN.A meets every Thursday from 5-6 p.m. in the RSC. In order to know what room the group will meet in every week, like their Facebook page: LAT.IN.A.
* The WSU Anthropology Club is having a coat drive for the YWCA and other local shelters. The drive runs through Friday, Dec. 5. Collection boxes are available in the north and south lobbies of the RSC, and in the main lobby of Neff Hall.
* Since 2010, the US-UK Fulbright Commission has partnered with top UK universities and other organizations to give U.S. undergraduates the opportunity to study and experience culture in various regions of the UK. * If you want to take a Spanish language course at WSU in spring 2015 and you haven't taken a Spanish course here before, you need to take a placement exam to meet the course prerequisite. The Spanish placement exam is offered at no cost to students and can be taken at any time from any computer that has Internet access. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3502 for more information.
