* The 5th Annual Christmas Organ Concert with Lynne Davis will be performed at 5:15 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 3) in Wiedemann Hall. Admission is free.
* New and experienced Banner Schedule Builders and Department Chairs are invited to attend the upcoming Spring Schedule Building Training sessions, presented by the University Registrar and Applications Training on Dec. 9-10. Sections 1 and 2 are required for new schedule builders; current builders are invited to attend one or both sessions as a refresher. * The Fall 2014 Physics Seminar Series will conclude with professor Markus Ahlers from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Ahlers will present "The Ice Cube Experimental Neutrino Puzzle," at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 3) in 128 Jabara Hall.
* The Fall 2014 WSU Chemistry Colloquium series wraps up at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 3) in 224 McKinley Hall, with a presentation by chemistry graduate students.
* WSU, Watermark Books and the City of Wichita, will host a Gordon Parks Lecture Series event, "A Conversation with Christo Brand," at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, in Lowe Auditorium, Hughes Metropolitan Complex. http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3499
* WSU staff, faculty and students from WU Crew volunteer at The Lord's Diner. Now everyone is invited to participate in the annual sock, hat, glove and scarf collection for guests at The Lord's Diner. Drop off donations at Central Services in the basement of Morrison Hall by Monday, Dec. 8. Donate any of the following for men and women -- warm hats/scarves, white tube socks and warm gloves, including men's work gloves. These will be distributed to our guests on Christmas Eve.
* Join the Introduction to Fine Arts students in their professor talent show at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, in the CAC Theater. Students were asked to plan an event that showed their professors performing a skill they aren't used to. Don't miss this opportunity to see professors outside of their comfort zone.
* Letters from Santa can be purchased for $1.25 each from the campus post office in Morrison Hall, and will be sent to Santa Claus Station for a pictorial postmark and then forwarded to your child.
