* The 12 Days of Christmas sale continues in the University Bookstore. All the previous day sales are still available, with a new sale added every day. For today (Monday, Dec. 8) all drinkware is on sale for 20 percent off. Stock up on coffee mugs, water bottles, and travel mugs.

* The Office of Financial Aid in 203 Jardine Hall will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 10, for staff development. For financial aid questions, students can contact the WSU OneStop staff in 122 Jabara Hall or at 1-855-WSU-1STP (978-1787).

* Because of the ongoing Ebola virus outbreak occurring in Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Mali in West Africa, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued travel notices for these countries. Student Health Services is asking individuals traveling to Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone or Mali during the holiday break to contact Student Health at 978-3620. * The WSU Hunger Awareness Initiative needs your help. Your voice is vital to our understanding of food insecurity in the Wichita State community. Please give 10-15 minutes of your time to complete a survey, and contribute to our work toward sustainable solutions for the WSU campus. * Are you a junior? Do you value scholarship, leadership and service? Mortar Board Senior Honor Society is accepting applications for new members. * Through the Angel Tree program, gifts are provided to children in need who would otherwise be left out on Christmas. There are still about 15 angels to adopt from the Angel Tree in Shocker Hall Dining. Participants need to be register in the Shocker Hall main lobby. * Since 2010, the US-UK Fulbright Commission has partnered with top UK universities and other organizations to give U.S. undergraduates the opportunity to study and experience culture in various regions of the UK.
