* The Unclassified Professional Senate will hold its General Meeting from 3:30-5 p.m. today (Thursday, Dec. 4) in 127 Jabara Hall. Join us and get an update from President Bardo and other administrators on what is happening at WSU.

* You are invited to a retirement party for Ruth Hitchcock, associate professor, Counseling, Educational Leadership, Educational and School Psychology, from 3-5 p.m. today (Thursday, Dec. 4) in Sudermann Commons, 132 Hughes Metropolitan Complex. Enter door C.

* The Department of Human Performance Studies will hold its 9th Annual Chili Cook-off and Student Appreciation Day today (Thursday, Dec. 4) in the Heskett Center lobby. Everyone who wants to taste chili needs only to bring a canned food item or $2, which will be donated to the Kansas Food Bank. General tasting begins at 11:30 a.m.

* Come to the RSC and enjoy some cocoa and cookies courtesy of Rhatigan Student Center at 11 a.m. today (Thursday, Dec. 4).

* Wadell and Reed will be on campus to provide helpful information about Social Security and Medicare Insurance for those struggling to understand these two critical areas that come up as we near retirement. The two seminars will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, in 256 RSC.

* The WSU Hunger Awareness Initiative needs your help. This survey is part of an ongoing research initiative led by the WSU HAI. Your voice is vital to our understanding of food insecurity in the Wichita State community.
