Beginning in 2011, Wichita State's Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) founded SHOCKERTHON, a 12-hour dance marathon that raises money for the Children's Miracle Network at Via Christi Health. SHOCKERTHON joined the fight with hundreds of other dance marathons across the country. The SHOCKERTHON event was held Nov. 22, at the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane.
