* Save the date for an upcoming webinar covering the results of our recent outbound campaigns conducted by the OneStop at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12. The webinar will provide an overview of the outbound campaigns completed in fall 2014 encouraging admissions, enrollment, retention and student services.
* Understanding finance at WSU can be a challenge for budget officers and support staff. On Tuesday, Jan. 13, Lois Tatro will present WSU Finance 101, which includes information on GU and RU funding, how to stay on top of departmental finances, processing revenue, expenses, BPC cards, travel and more. If you have questions regarding the finance process you would like Tatro to cover, send them to training@wichita.edu by Friday, Jan. 9. To view session details and register, log in to your myWSU, go to the Faculty/Staff tab and choose myTraining from quick links on the left-hand side.
* Get back on track with healthier eating for 2015. Attend Weight Watchers meetings right here on campus each week to lose pounds, lower the risk for health problems and feel more energetic. Our At-Work WW group meets during the lunch hour on Tuesdays. Attend an open house at noon Tuesday, Jan. 20, in 206 Heskett Center.
* Nominations are being sought for Wichita State's 2015 Senior Honor Men and Women awards. This is one of the highest honors a student can receive at WSU. Up to five men and five women are chosen for this honor each year. Please help identify students for this award by submitting your nominations at http://www.wichita.edu/seniorhonor. * The University Police Department will host a van training class at 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 22. This is a requirement if persons wish to drive a 12-passenger van. Interested persons need to contact edwin.catlin@wichita.edu to be placed on the list.
