* The Wichita Chapter of Project Management Institute and WSU's Center for Management Development is hosting a free virtual presentation and question session with Edward J. * Join faculty and staff to hear about the results of an assessment project involving our student orientation programs implemented last year. The Assessment Symposium is from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, in 265 RSC (Spencer). Lunch will be provided. * Get back on track with healthier eating for 2015. Attend Weight Watchers meetings right here on campus each week to lose pounds, lower the risk for health problems and feel more energetic. Our At-Work WW group meets during the lunch hour on Tuesdays. Attend an open house at noon today (Tuesday, Jan. 20) in 206 Heskett Center.

* The University Police Department will host a van training class at 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 22. This is a requirement if persons wish to drive a 12-passenger van. Interested persons need to contact edwin.catlin@wichita.edu to be placed on the list.

* Student Involvement is seeking staff and faculty members to serve as judges for the annual Greek Awards program. Judging will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 3; judges can volunteer to review packets and conduct interviews from 8 a.m.-noon or 1-5 p.m. To volunteer or ask questions, contact Meg Junk at megan.junk@wichita.edu or 978-7011.

* Springfest, an involvement fair for departments and organizations to get their names out, will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, on the second floor of the Heskett Center. Register your university department at http://www.wichita.edu/springfest for an information table at this fun-filled event where students will get to know more about your department. There are limited tables available. The last day to register is 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, or until all spots are reserved.
