For nearly 100 years, Kansas Native Sons and Daughters have been meeting to recognize and preserve Kansas history and celebrate Kansas traditions. Wichita State University will be one of six honorees for 2015 and receive a Citation for Distinguished Service. Friends, family and the general public are invited to attend the Kansas Native Sons and Daughters annual dinner and awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, in the Sunflower Ballroom of the Maner Conference Center at 17th and Western in Topeka.
