* A community conversation -- "Confronting the Reality of Sexual Violence in Wichita" -- will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. today (Thursday, Jan. 22) at the Fairmount Park Community Building at 1647 N. Yale. The event is free and open to the public. Those interested in the subject and/or in showing support for the Fairmount neighborhood should plan to attend.

* The 7th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Walk will be held at 5 p.m. today (Thursday, Jan. 22) starting by the RSC south entrance with the candle light procession and concluding in 142 RSC. * The Office of Research and Technology Transfer will hold a workshop for WSU faculty and staff for "Cayuse 101: Electronic Submission to Grants.gov Made Easy" from 1:30-3 p.m. today (Thursday, Jan. 22), in 266 RSC (Pike). The workshop will feature a demonstration of Cayuse, the electronic grant submission tool for www.grants.gov submissions to federal agencies. Register now at http://bit.ly/1zuCMG0. * The Ulrich Winter Opening Reception will be held 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Ulrich Museum. This is a welcome-back event to celebrate the opening of three timely and diverse shows.
